Thanks to the Disc E mix, the pair of organic SwissStop Disc 30 E pads offer powerful and ultra-quiet braking on all terrains. The steel alloy trim support is thinner (1.6 mm thick) and lighter than the standard models and thus offers ideal thermal characteristics, thanks to the strength and stability of the steel. Less pad backing thickness means more lining thickness, which increases pad life.

Warning :

The pads must be run in to achieve their maximum performance. Before removing or replacing the brake pads, be sure to allow them to cool .

Step 1 . On a gradual downhill slope, brake gently with each brake for 20-30 seconds, alternating forward and backward. Repeat 2-3 times.

Step 2 . On a steeper slope, use the brakes for 10-15 seconds then increase the pressure on the brake levers until the bike comes to a complete stop. Repeat 2-3 times.

The pro's tip : The front brake will have heated up more than the rear. To achieve optimal performance, replace the front and rear pads then repeat step 2.
