The XLC PD-X15 Non-Slip Strip Set is a replacement for the strips found on the PD-C11 flat pedals.
The small sandpaper strips are applied to both sides of each pedal, at the top, bottom and center of the pedal surface.
Having a spare set like the XLC PD-X15 is helpful in the long run, as after sustained use, the strips begin to wear and become progressively less effective.
Always keep the grip by having some of these strips in your spare arsenal. A grip strip like this one for the PD-C11 flat pedals is useful because, like on a skateboard, it's designed to improve traction on the surface.
This means that in non-traditional cycling shoes, you can still find grip on the pedals.
