The new shifter Apex, like every SRAM road group, features the proprietary DoubleTap ® technology, with benefits such as "setting the guard" independent of the brake levers and gear. Apex uses a single handle lever for shifting and a dedicated lever for braking. All these mechanical devices are assembled in an extremely lightweight package of 344 g and has an internal cable routing to maximize aerodynamics and provide a more elegant appearance.
