The ergonomic SQlab Innerbarends grips are an innovative new evolution of the good ol 'barends that we have known from the early days of mountain biking, but with a safety aspect never seen before. Despite the different position of the hands, the brake levers are always within easy reach. The position is a bit like that of an aero handlebar or extenders. Innerbarends don't weigh much or get in the way, so give them a try!

Moving the hand this far inward positions the elbows so that they can rest comfortably against your torso and also stretches the upper body position slightly more forward. This is both an aerodynamic and a biomechanical advantage .

Innerbarends are suitable for most bicycles. They are mounted directly next to and inside the handles. Since most brake levers are long enough that they can and should be fitted inside the shifter to achieve the best braking performance, there is usually enough space between the handles and the lever. gear / brake lever to mount the inner barends.
