Description

The Profil Design 45AR extension offers comprehensive yet simple adjustment, ideally suited to riders wishing to add aerobars to their road, gravel or packing bike. This extension can be used for draft legal triathlon once shortened to meet the ITU rules.

Profile Design has a long history with shorty/DL style bars. This is our latest offering and the most adjustable yet. We wanted to create a bar that would be an easy and comfortable addition to road, gravel and packing bikes.

Features:

  • Length: 240 mm.
  • Angle: 45 Degrees.
  • Rise: 62 mm (bottom to top).
  • Extension Width: 100 mm.
  • Outer Diameter: 22.2 mm.
  • Inner Diameter: 19.4 mm.
  • Construction: 6061-T6 aluminum.
  • Weight: 137 g.

Torque settings (all bolts are M6):

  • Bar Clamp: 6 Nm.
  • Extension Clamp: 5 Nm.
  • Armrest Bolts: 4.7 Nm.
