Every time someone trains with Kipchoge, they're asked to plant a tree at their base camp to signify their growth. The insole graphics mimic this growth with branches moving toward the front of the shoe. The faded red clay color nods to the Kenyan soil that stains the shoes during training. The font is a play on African trees with fractal-like patterns on the surfaces.

High breathability around the toes combined with soft but supportive yarns offer our most customized upper for the Vaporfly. The result is a softer, cooler design that adapts to your foot.
What's new on the Vaporfly 3?
An updated thin outsole rubber uses less material without sacrificing durability, helping to reduce outsole weight and thickness. This allows for extra millimeters of ZoomX foam underfoot and a smoother transition throughout your stride.
Lightweight padding on the tongue reduces the pressure exerted by the laces on the top of the foot.
A new embossed outsole pattern with perforations saves weight and offers traction on multiple surfaces in a variety of weather conditions.
Staggered heel stitching helps reduce friction in the heel area.
