Buying guide

The GEL-SONOMA™ 6 running shoe is designed for the great outdoors. Inspired by the ASICS family of trail running shoes, this shoe is a versatile version that is practical for trail running, easy hiking and other outdoor adventures.

We also used fewer resources to dye the insole for a more sustainable design approach.
The goal this season was to improve the fit of the upper, so we implemented a new fit design that provides better midfoot support and heel fit, while the wider toe area allows the toes more room. The synthetic stitching on the overlays is designed to improve durability while helping feet stay in place and prevent them from slipping.

Underfoot comfort comes from a full-length AMPLIFOAM™ midsole and GEL™ technology padding that is placed where runners need the most impact absorption.

To increase the smoothness with every step, we have included an ORTHOLITE™ insole for excellent comfort.

In addition, the multi-directional traction outsole improves grip on a variety of surfaces.

All the comfort components are finished with durable properties, such as the solid rubber outsole, to make this shoe a versatile choice for the trails.
