Lightweight helmet with reinforced protection for climbing, mountaineering and ski touring

Designed for climbing, mountaineering and ski touring, the METEOR helmet is lightweight, compact and has excellent ventilation for a comfortable fit in summer and winter. The full coverage design provides enhanced protection for the entire head. METEOR is the first CE certified ski touring helmet. The optimal integration of a ski mask makes this helmet a neatly styled helmet, optimized for ski touring. This helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 alpine ski helmet standard.

Lightweight, compact and ventilated helmet:
- only 240 g,
- In-Mold construction, with an injected EPS foam liner under a thin polycarbonate shell, favoring compactness on the head,
- large ventilation holes providing excellent ventilation,
- neat finishes and clean design.

Reinforced protection:
- designed according to Petzl's TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION label,
- full coverage design for optimal protection against side, front and rear impacts.

Suitable for ski touring:
- first helmet to be certified as a CE ski touring helmet,
- optimal ventilation on the way up and on the way down. The helmet is easy to wear from the beginning to the end of the outing,
- designed for wearing a ski mask, thanks to the specific design on the front of the helmet,
- rear elastic compatible with ski mask headbands,
- semi-rigid headband for easy adjustment, even with gloves,
- two hooks on the front and an elastic on the back to attach a headlamp.

NB: This helmet does not meet the requirements of the helmet standard for downhill skiers EN 1077.
