Built on the SupTraction Rubber Soul CL (CL stands for automatic pedal) with an EVA midsole, the Rascal isn't just about its incredible power transfer. Over the entire length of the foot, it has the necessary rigidity for efficient pedaling. It also offers enough flexibility during walking portions when the bike needs to be pushed or carried. With its solid stone guard on the preformed heel, associated with the Serpen_Tie scratch band, the Rascal perfectly maintains the heel, which offers great comfort while pedaling or walking. On the front part, a stone guard, called Toetal_Protection, protects the toes from stones or roots. The high upper with Ankle_Pad protects and supports the lower part of the ankle without hindering freedom of movement when pedaling. Perforated synthetic leather for better ventilation and additional reinforcements in exposed areas complete the functions of the Rascal. A two-component sockliner absorbs shock during walking at the heel and reduces the appearance of signs of fatigue during long rides by supporting the arch of the foot. Weight: 469 g per shoe (size 42, without cleat).

  • ToeTal_Protection & preformed heel: Reinforced shell to protect the toes from roots and stones. Preformed heel for maximum comfort and precise fit. Excellent heel support guaranteed.
  • SupTraction_Rubber Soul CL: ION has developed this sole specially for automatic pedals. With little profile at the level of the cleat for easy putting on or taking off and a more marked profile at the toes and heel for good foot support on slippery surfaces.
  • Serpen_Tie: The instep - especially their height - vary enormously. We invented an adjustable system while keeping it simple to find perfect comfort.
  • No-Sew_Reinforcement: Welded reinforcements on the most exposed parts.
  • Ankle_Pad: Upper with higher internal face and additional lining to protect the ankle.
  • ToeTal_Protection: Reinforced shell to protect the toes from blows from roots and stones.
  • 2K_InSole: Two components providing cushioning to the soles of the feet and arch support. Less fatigue in the feet during long rides.
