Accessories to equip your bike
Several bicycle accessories exist to improve your comfort and safety, whatever your practice. A saddlebag is essential to keep your flat tyre repair equipment, as you never know what could happen!
In mountain biking especially, a mudguard/fender will be useful to avoid mud splashes on your clothes. Frame, fork and handlebar protections will be appreciated, especially for extreme practices where the MTB is put under considerable strain.
Why not add a bell to signal your presence in perilous places and lighting to see you at night?
For the city bike, a bicycle lock is advised to avoid any setback when recovering your bike.
A useful bike accessory for winter is the hometrainer: when it rains and it's cold outside, there's nothing better to keep your training level.
Accessories for the cyclist
When you go for a bike ride, don't neglect your diet and hydration. We spend many hours on the saddle and the body needs energy sources to keep moving forward and to prevent hypoglycemia.
Some bike accessories are therefore indispensable: a bottle cage to put the can containing water and isotonic drinks, energy bars and gels to give a little energy boost when the need arises. For the MTB mainly, the rider can be equipped with a water pocket to drink easily during the effort.
